Now it is time to think about what to do under the tree. This should be done last after you tree is completely decorated. If you have used a standard tree stand, a complementary tree skirt works great, just leave a way to put water in the stand if you have used a real tree. Try to get creative with this space. Fabric loosely draped loosely under the tree, an old quilt that matches the decor, a grouping of old toys, or large decorations, these are just a few examples of things that an be used under your tree. Just try to tie in the colors and feel of you tree decorations. Leave plenty of room for those Christmas gifts!
